CINCINNATI (WXIX) - A Flood Warning remains in effect until 12:30 p.m. Friday for the Ohio River in Cincinnati and at dams east and west of the city, as well as Maysville in Northern Kentucky.

FOX19 NOW Chief Meteorologist Steve Horstmeyer says not enough rain is in the forecast to impact how fast water recedes.

Light rain showers will continue overnight Wednesday and through Thursday and come to an end Friday morning.

We aren’t looking at severe weather, though breezy winds may accompany some showers as well as some rumbles of thunder.

A few locations could see up to half an inch of rainfall from this system, but most will see less. Showers will linger into Friday morning.
