Amanda Holden and Alan Carr have just announced that their BBC renovation series has been recommissioned, although this time they are heading somewhere new. The news has come after the success of their sangria filled Spanish Job, and their original series Amanda and Alan's Italian Job.

The pair took to social media to share the exciting news, with Amanda surprising Alan on where the new series would take place. The Britain's Got Talent judge quizzed the comedian asking an array of questions which would reveal the location.

Amanda posted on Instagram: "I couldn’t be happier to announce that @chattyman and I are going to be doing a fourth series of Amanda and Alan! If I said “our big fat Greek renovation” I’m sure that will give you a clue! Watch this reel to see where exactly.

"We couldn’t be happier to be spending another summer together bashing down walls in one of our favourite places ever ! MILLIONS of you tuned in - thank you SO MUCH for all the love and support." For the latest TV and showbiz gossip sign up to our newsletter.

In the Instagram reel Alan says: "We've got news! Our wonderful show Amanda and Alan's Italian Job has been recommissioned, thanks to you who watch it in your millions...We've been told it's recommissioned, but we don't know where it's gonna be."

Amanda then started her quiz, claiming Alan would "Die of joy" when he found out the location. She added "we are going to have such a great Summer."

The quiz included questions like "Name a great dip", "spell Greece", " the colours on the Greek flag?", "somewhere in Greece?", "how long to fly to Greece?" The last question gave it away for the chat show host, when he said that it took them 3 hours to fly to Corfu when previously went on holiday together.

Amanda then revealed that's where they would be going before the pair then shouted "It's Corfu". Alan also exclaimed how much he loved halloumi and said that it would be the "Best Summer ever".

Fans flooded the comments of the post saying how excited they were for the new series. One fan said: "The best news! Love watching you two together (and living abroad vicariously)."

Another added: "Great news!! I love watching these, the transformations are amazing and you two just crack me up."

Their last renovation took place in the small Spanish village of Moclin, whose population stands at just over 200 inhabitants due to de-population and a lack of generational living. The building itself had been left uninhabited for 35 years, before the pair renovated it and it is now for sale on Right Move, read more here.

Despite announcing the recommission, the pair are yet to have shared when the series will start filming or when it will be released. However, if you want to re-watch the pair's adventures in Spain and Italy you can watch them on BBC iPlayer.
