UPCAT application deadline extended until April 14

MANILA, Philippines — The University of the Philippines College Admission Test (UPCAT) has been extended until April 14, its Office of Admission said on Monday.

“Current Grade 11 students or incoming new first-year students for AY 2026-2027 must fill out and submit their application by the extended deadline,” the UP admission office said in a Facebook advisory.

Meanwhile, the completion of the Form 2A application and the confirmation of students by senior high schools are extended until April 25.

Previously, the deadline for the UPCAT application was set on April 4.

UPCAT examination dates will be from August 2 and 3 this year, while submission of grades requirements will be from August 4 to 25.

UP President Angelo Jimenez has said “roughly 10 percent” of about 100,000 examinees pass the UPCAT annually.
