Bishkek, Aug. 1, 2018. / Kabar /. 1 million 676.4 thousand heads of cattle have passed the procedure of identification, deputy director of the State Inspectorate for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Security Ashyrbai Jusupov told at a press conference in Kabar Agency.
According to his data, 186,000 of them were identified this year.
He also said that the information system on animal identification was transferred to the State Committee for Information Technologies and Communication of the Kyrgyz Republic.
"Previously, a French company was engaged in the system and we bought it . After our staff underwent training in France. Now, according to the agreement, the system was transferred to the State Committee for Information Technologies and Communication," he said.
Jusupov said that 1 million 606.1 thousand heads of cattle are included into the information system.
